Adams Morgan Day Festival
In 2010, I did an internship with Adams Morgan Main Street Group for my last semester in school. I had a lot of opportunities to put my design skills into practice. Making promotional materials to promote local businesses, event flyers, and digital ads. My guess is that I left a good impression, since the following spring I was asked to help with their biggest annual summer event.
In 2011, I created promotional graphics for the Adams Morgan Day Festival. Starting with a flyer to promote the festival through local online and print publications. The goal for the flyer was to create something bold and clean. I also worked on the sponsorship kit. The purpose for the kit was to be used as an informational resource for potential sponsors. Lastly, I created vinyl banners that would serve as signage for different areas of the festival. The goal for the banners was to create something that was generic in theme, this was done with the idea of reusing the banners in future festivals.
